Gloria Escobar Mazuera (GEM) is a graduate of Florida International
University, where she studied Engineering Management and earned a
Masters of Business Administration. Gloria began her career developing,
training, and consulting programs for small business growth in Florida
International University College of Engineering. In this position, she
successfully managed and oversaw over 15 projects funded by the
Departments of Defense and Energy. After several years with FIU, she
devoted her professional life to supporting providers and patients as a star
administrator for Nicklaus Children’s, MEDNAX, and
CHENMED where she served as Director of several inpatient and
outpatient services.

In Gloria's perspective, the patient experience is the main driver of the
bottom line at the physician practice. Offering impeccable patient service
requires incredibly organized, trained and patient oriented

teams. Seamlessly managing critical information, customer service and
tasks anywhere from appointment setting to payment can make or break
the success of a practice. Gloria’s accomplishments have involved
consistent increases in practice productivity, through the modification of
processes and procedures to improve the patient and provider experience.
Gloria offers a realm of technical and non technical solutions for the  busy
practice that result in additional revenue, better patient care and smooth
processes to work smarter, not harder.
